This painting was a lot of fun to research! Antique items are fascinating, and steam punk has a classic grace and elegance. I've been a fan of steam, air, and sail punk ever since falling in love with "Around the World in 80 Days" and the "Wild, Wild West" tv series many years ago. The original pastel pencil painting is 12x15, matted and framed to be 16x20. The cream mat sets off the wonderful subjects in the scene, and the dark frame has a nail head trim that is very much an delicious addition to the slightly industrial theme.
