Artist's Description
This plein air painting is like so many scenes I love in the South Carolina Lowcountry, though I painted this view in Hilton Head. This was the first time I've painted in an area where I needed to be cautious of an alligator lurking in the water. He had come up to investigate what we were having for dinner out on the deck the night before, so I stayed on the safety of the deck to paint rather than invade his space. There was also a white egret fishing nearby, but I didn't include him in the painting. The bird would have stolend the stage, and my focus was the moss.
This 9x12 slim panel is ready to pop into a frame instantly and be ready to hang. Shipping is included in the price.
